UPDATE: Donovan Mitchell's Current Injury Status For Lakers-Cavs Game

Donovan Mitchell is on the injury report for Saturday's game.

UPDATE: Donovan Mitchell is available (via the NBA's official injury report).

On Saturday evening, the Cleveland Cavaliers will host the Los Angeles Lakers in Ohio.

For the game, they could be without their best player, as Donovan Mitchell is on the injury report listed as questionable.

The All-Star shooting guard has missed each of the previous four games, so this would be his fifth straight out of the lineup (if he doesn't play).

Via Underdog NBA: "Donovan Mitchell (hamstring) listed questionable for Saturday."

Mitchell has played in ten games so far this season, and he is averaging 29.2 points, 4.9 rebounds, 5.3 assists and 2.0 steals per contest while shooting 48.6% from the field and 39.3% from the three-point range.

The Cavs are 8-7 in their first 15 games, which has them as the eighth seed in the Eastern Conference.

They are 6-4 over their last ten games and most recently lost to the Miami Heat by a score of 129-96 (at home) on Wednesday evening.

Following the Lakers, the Cavs will play their next game against the Toronto Raptors (at home) on Sunday.

Mitchell is in his seventh season in the NBA (and his second with the Cavs).

The former Louisville star is coming off a year where he led the Cavs to the NBA playoffs for the first time since 2018 and averaged 28.3 points, 4.3 rebounds, 4.4 assists and 1.5 steals per contest while shooting 48.4% from the field and 38.6% from the three-point range in 68 games.

They lost to the New York Knicks in the first round (in five games).
