Donovan Mitchell's Status For Cavs-Bulls Game

Donovan Mitchell is on the injury report for Saturday's game.

On Saturday evening, the Cleveland Cavaliers will be in Chicago to face off against the Bulls at the United Center.  

For the game, the Cavs will be without their best player, as Donovan Mitchell has been ruled out.  

Mitchell has missed each of the previous two games, so this will be his third straight out of the lineup.

Mitchell has played in 22 games so far this season and is averaging 27.7 points, 5.6 rebounds, 5.5 assists and 1.8 steals per contest while shooting 45.3% from the field and 35.1% from the three-point range. 

The Cavs are 16-13 in their first 29 games, which has them as the seventh seed in the Eastern Conference. 

They are 6-4 over their last ten games and most recently lost to the New Orleans Pelicans by a score of 121-104. 

Following the Bulls, the Cavs will play their next game on Wednesday evening when they visit Luka Doncic and the Dallas Mavericks in Texas. 

On the road, they are 7-6 in the 13 games they have played away from Ohio. 

As for the Bulls, they are the tenth seed in the Eastern Conference with a 13-17 record in their first 30 games.  

They are in the middle of a three-game winning streak and are 7-3 over their last ten games.

Following the Cavs, the Bulls will play their next game on Tuesday evening when they host Trae Young and the Atlanta Hawks at the United Center.
