UPDATE: Key Player Could Remain Out For Celtics-Heat Game

Gabe Vincent is on the injury report for Game 6 of the Eastern Conference Finals.

FINAL UPDATE: Gabe Vincent is available.

UPDATE: According to Ben Rohrbach of Yahoo Sports, Gabe Vincent will likely be available for Game 6.

On Saturday evening, the Miami Heat are hosting the Boston Celtics in Florida for Game 6 of the Eastern Conference Finals.

For the game, the Heat could remain without one of their best players, as Gabe Vincent is on the injury report listed as questionable due to an ankle injury.

The 26-year-old missed Game 5 on Thursday night, and the Heat lost by a score of 110-97.

Via Underdog NBA: "Gabe Vincent (ankle) listed questionable for Saturday."

Vincent has been one of the team's most important players, and in Game 3, he had 29 points on 11/14 shooting from the field and 6/9 from the three-point range.

He also put up 17 points on 5/10 shooting in Game 4.

The Heat had a 3-0 lead in the series but have lost both Games 4 and 5.

If they are able to win on Saturday, the Heat will advance to the 2023 NBA Finals and face off against Nikola Jokic and the Denver Nuggets (who beat the Los Angeles Lakers).

Meanwhile, the Celtics can force a Game 7 back in Boston on Monday with a victory.

Despite finishing the year as the eighth seed in the Eastern Conference, the Heat have an elite roster and are in the Conference Finals for the second time in the previous four seasons (they made the Finals in 2020).

Vincent is in his fourth season in the NBA and averaged a solid 9.4 points, 2.1 rebounds and 2.5 assists per contest during the regular season.
