Giannis Antetokounmpo's Injury Status For Grizzlies-Bucks Game

Giannis Antetokounmpo has been ruled out for Friday's game.

On Friday night, the Milwaukee Bucks are hosting the Memphis Grizzlies in Wisconsin.

For the game, they will be without their best player, as Giannis Antetokounmpo has been ruled out due to a knee injury.

He also missed Wednesday's 105-92 victory over the Chicago Bulls, so this will be his second straight game out of the lineup.

Underdog NBA: "Giannis Antetokounmpo (knee) listed out for Friday."

The two-time MVP is in the middle of a sensational season with averages of 31.1 points, 11.8 rebounds and 5.7 assists per contest in 63 games while shooting 55.3% from the field.

In addition to his dominant play, the Bucks have been the best team in the NBA.

They are the first seed in the Eastern Conference with a 58-22 record in 80 games.

Over the last ten games, the Bucks have gone 8-2, and they are in the middle of a two-game winning streak.

At home, they have been incredible, going 32-8 in the 40 games they have hosted in Wisconsin.

In 2021, Antetokounmpo led the Bucks to the NBA Championship over the Phoenix Suns, while last year, they lost to the Celtics in the second round.

As for the Grizzlies, they are the second seed in the Western Conference with a 50-30 record in 80 games.

They are 7-3 in their last ten games but have struggled on the road in a big way.

In 39 games played outside of Memphis, the Grizzlies are just 15-24.

Last season, they lost in the second round to the Golden State Warriors.
