Golden State Warriors Player Fined $20,000

Golden State Warriors player JaMychal Green has been fined $20,000 by the NBA.

On Wednesday evening, the Golden State Warriors lost 130-119 to the Phoenix Suns, dropping them to 6-9 in their first 15 games.

The NBA has now fined JaMychal Green for an incident after the game with an official.

NBA Communications: "Golden State Warriors forward JaMychal Green has been fined $20,000 for directing profane and derogatory language toward a game official, it was announced today by Joe Dumars, Executive Vice President, Head of Basketball Operations.

The incident occurred at the conclusion of the Warriors' 130-119 loss to the Phoenix Suns on Nov. 16 at Footprint Center. "

Green is in his first season with the Warriors and is averaging 4.8 points and 4.5 rebounds in 17.0 minutes of playing time per contest.

He has been struggling to shoot the ball (41.1% from the field and 22.7% from the three-point range).

Before playing for the Warriors, he spent the last two seasons playing for the Denver Nuggets.

In 499 career regular-season games, he has averages of 7.8 points and 5.7 rebounds on 47.1% shooting from the field.

As for the team, the Warriors have yet to look like themselves to start the season.

They have won four titles in the last eight seasons but have looked mediocre to start the 2022-23 season.

Currently, they are the 12th seed in the Western Conference and 0-8 on the road.

On Friday night, they will host the New York Knicks at the Chase Center.

While they have been a bad team to start the season, they are 6-1 in seven games at home.
