UPDATE: Ja Morant's Current Status For Grizzlies-Nuggets Game

Ja Morant is on the injury report for Thursday's game.

UPDATE: Ja Morant has been ruled out.

UPDATE: Ja Morant remains questionable on the 2:30 Eastern Time injury report. 

On Thursday evening, the Memphis Grizzlies will be in Denver to face off against the Nuggets.  

However, they could be without their best player, as Ja Morant is listed as questionable on the injury report due to an illness. 

Morant has played in four games so far this season and is averaging 28.8 points, 5.5 rebounds, 8.5 assists and 1.0 steals per contest while shooting 50.6% from the field.

The Grizzlies have gone 4-0 with Morant in the lineup and are currently the 13th seed in the Western Conference with a 10-19 record in their first 29 games.   

Most recently, they beat the New Orleans Pelicans (in overtime) by a score of 116-115. 

In 40 minutes of playing time, Morant had 31 points, five rebounds, seven assists, one steal and two blocks while shooting 12/24 from the field and 1/7 from the three-point range.    

Following the Nuggets, the Grizzlies will visit the Los Angeles Clippers on Friday evening in California.  

On the road, they have gone 8-8 in the 16 games they have played away from Memphis. 

As for the Nuggets, they are the third seed in the Western Conference with a 22-10 record in their first 32 games. 

They are 8-2 over their last ten games and in the middle of a five-game winning streak. 

Following the Grizzlies, the Nuggets will host the Oklahoma City Thunder on Friday evening.  

At home, they have gone 12-2 in 14 games.
