UPDATE: Jalen Brunson's Current Injury Status For Hawks-Knicks Game

Jalen Brunson is on the injury report for Tuesday's game.

UPDATE: Jalen Brunson has been ruled out (h/t SNY's Ian Begley).

On Tuesday evening, the New York Knicks will host Dejounte Murray and the Atlanta Hawks at Madison Square Garden in Manhattan.   

For the game, the Knicks could be without their best player, as All-Star point guard Jalen Brunson is on the injury report. 

Brunson left the team's last game in the first quarter with an injury.

Brunson is in the middle of a sensational season with averages of 27.2 points, 3.7 rebounds and 6.6 assists per contest while shooting 47.7% from the field and 40.7% from the three-point range in 57 games. 

The Knicks are the fourth seed in the Eastern Conference with a 36-25 record in 61 games. 

They are 3-7 over their last ten games but most recently beat the Cleveland Cavaliers by a score of 107-98.

Donte DiVincenzo led the team with 28 points. 

Following their matchup with the Hawks, the Knicks will remain at home to host Paolo Banchero and the Orlando Magic on Friday evening at Madison Square Garden.

As for the Hawks, they are the tenth seed in the Eastern Conference with a 26-34 record in 60 games. 

They are in the middle of a two-game losing streak and have gone 4-6 over their last ten games. 

Most recently, the Hawks lost to Mikal Bridges and the Brooklyn Nets by a score of 114-102. 

Following the Knicks, they will return home to host the Cleveland Cavaliers on Wednesday evening at State Farm Arena in Georgia.
