UPDATE: Jalen Brunson's Current Injury Status For Magic-Knicks Game

Jalen Brunson is on the injury report for Monday's game.

On Monday afternoon, the New York Knicks will host the Orlando Magic at Madison Square Garden.    

For the game, the Knicks could be without one of their best players, as star point guard Jalen Brunson is on the injury report.

Brunson missed the team's last game, so this would be his second straight out of the lineup (if he doesn't play).  

Via SNY's Ian Begley at 9:09 Eastern Time: "In latest NBA injury report, Jalen Brunson remains questionable for today’s game vs Orlando due to a left calf contusion."

Brunson has played in 38 games and is averaging 25.8 points, 3.8 rebounds, 6.4 assists and 1.0 steals per contest while shooting 46.9% from the field and 42.4% from the three-point range. 

The Knicks are the seventh seed in the Eastern Conference with a 23-16 record in their first 39 games. 

They are 6-4 over their last ten games and are 11-4 in the 15 games they have hosted at Madison Square Garden in New York City. 

Most recently, the Knicks beat the Memphis Grizzles (on the road) by a score of 106-94. 

Following the Magic, they will host the Houston Rockets on Wednesday evening. 

As for the Magic, they are the eighth seed in the Eastern Conference with a 21-18 record in their first 39 games. 

They are in the middle of a three-game losing streak and are 3-7 over their last ten games. 

Following the Knicks, the Magic will visit Trae Young and the Atlanta Hawks on Wednesday evening at State Farm Arena in Georgia.
