FINAL UPDATE: Jalen Brunson's Current Injury Status For Raptors-Knicks Game

On Monday evening, the New York Knicks will host the Toronto Raptors at Madison Square Garden. 

For the game, the Knicks could be without their best player, as Jalen Brunson is on the injury report. 

Via Underdog NBA: "Jalen Brunson (ankle) listed questionable for Monday."

Brunson has played in 21 games so far this season and is averaging 24.8 points, 3.6 rebounds, 5.5 assists and 1.0 steals per contest while shooting 46.6% from the field and 44.1% from the three-point range. 

Despite Brunson being on the injury report, head coach Tom Thibodeau said that he would play (h/t Fred Katz of The Athletic on Saturday). 

The Knicks are 12-9 in their first 21 games, which has them as the seventh seed in the Eastern Conference.  

They are 6-4 over their last ten games and in the middle of a two-game losing streak. 

Most recently, the Knicks lost to the Boston Celtics by a score of 133-123. 

Brunson had 23 points, one rebound, four assists and one steal while shooting 8/17 from the field in 34 minutes of playing time. 

Brunson was the 33rd pick in the 2018 NBA Draft and is in his sixth season in the league. 

He played four seasons for the Dallas Mavericks and is in his second season with New York. 

Following the Raptors, the Knicks will visit the Utah Jazz in Salt Lake City on Wednesday evening.

As for the Raptors, they are 9-13 in their first 22 games, which has them as the 11th seed in the Eastern Conference.
