UPDATE: Jalen Brunson's Injury Status For Heat-Knicks Game

Jalen Brunson is on the injury report for Game 2.

UPDATE: Jalen Brunson is available.

On Tuesday evening, the New York Knicks are hosting the Miami Heat for Game 2 of their second-round playoff series.

For the game, they could be without one of their best players, as Jalen Brunson is on the injury report listed as questionable.

Underdog NBA: "Jalen Brunson (ankle) questionable for Tuesday."

In Game 1, the Knicks lost by a score of 108-101, and Brunson had 25 points, five rebounds, seven assists and one steal in 40 minutes of playing time.

He spent the first four seasons of his career with the Dallas Mavericks before signing with the Knicks over the offseason, and the former Villanova star has been fantastic.

During the regular season, Brunson averaged 24.0 points, 3.5 rebounds and 6.2 assists per contest while shooting 49.1% from the field.

In the first round, the Knicks beat the Cleveland Cavaliers in five games.

The franchise has been to the NBA Playoffs two times in the previous three seasons, but this was their first time winning a playoff series since 2013 (when they still had Carmelo Anthony on the roster).

Game 2 will be significant for the Knicks, as they want to avoid falling into an 0-2 hole before going to Miami for Games 3 and 4.

As for the Heat, they are the eighth seed but coming off a massive upset over the Milwaukee Bucks (who were the first seed) in the first round.

Whoever wins the series will advance to the Conference Finals and face off against either the Boston Celtics or the Philadelphia 76ers.
