UPDATE: Jaylen Brown's Current Injury Status For Celtics-Suns Game

Jaylen Brown is on the injury report for Saturday's game.

On Saturday evening, the Boston Celtics will be in Arizona to face off against the Phoenix Suns.   

For the game, the Celtics could be without one of their best players, as All-Star forward Jaylen Brown is on the injury report.

Brown is in the middle of an extremely productive season with averages of 22.8 points, 5.6 rebounds, 3.7 assists and 1.1 steals per contest while shooting 50.1% from the field and 35.3% from the three-point range in 57 games.  

The Celtics are the best team in the NBA (and the first seed in the Eastern Conference) with a 48-14 record in 62 games. 

They have gone 8-2 over their last ten games but are also in the middle of a two-game losing streak. 

Most recently, the Celtics lost to the Denver Nuggets by a score of 115-109. 

Despite the loss, Brown was fantastic and put up 41 points, 14 rebounds and two assists while shooting 16/29 from the field and 2/7 from the three-point range in 41 minutes of playing time. 

Following the Suns, the Celtics will visit the Portland Trail Blazers on Monday evening in Oregon. 

As for the Suns, they are the sixth seed in the Western Conference with a 37-26 record in 63 games.  

They are in the middle of a two-game winning streak and have gone 6-4 over their last ten games. 

Following the Celtics, the Suns will play their next game on Monday evening when they visit the Cleveland Cavaliers in Ohio.
