UPDATE: Jimmy Butler's Current Injury Status For Hornets-Heat Game

Jimmy Butler is on the injury report for Sunday's game.

UPDATE: Jimmy Butler has been ruled out.   

On Sunday evening, the Miami Heat will host the Charlotte Hornets in Florida.  

For the game, the Heat will likely be without their best player, as Jimmy Butler has been listed as doubtful.    

The six-time NBA All-Star has missed each of the previous six games, so this would be his seventh straight out of the lineup.

Butler has played in 24 games and has averages of 21.0 points, 5.0 rebounds, 4.5 assists and 1.0 steals per contest while shooting 46.4% from the field and 37.7% from the three-point range.  

The Heat are the seventh seed in the Eastern Conference with a 22-16 record in their first 38 games.  

They are 6-4 over their last ten games and are 11-7 in the 18 games they have hosted on their home floor in Miami. 

Most recently, the Heat defeated the Orlando Magic by a score of 99-96. 

Following the Hornets, they will visit the Brooklyn Nets on Monday at Barclays Center in New York. 

As for the Hornets, they are the 13th seed in the Eastern Conference with an 8-28 record in their first 36 games. 

They are 1-9 over their last ten games and in the middle of a four-game losing streak.

Most recently, the Hornets lost to the San Antonio Spurs by a score of 135-99. 

On the road, they are 4-15 in 19 games. 

Following the Heat, the Hornets will visit Zion Williamson and the New Orleans Pelicans on Wednesday evening.
