UPDATE: Jimmy Butler's Current Injury Status For Magic-Heat Game

Jimmy Butler is on the injury report for Friday's game.

UPDATE: Jimmy Butler has been ruled out (h/t Ira Winderman of The Sun Sentinel).

On Friday evening, the Miami Heat will host the Orlando Magic in Florida.

For the game, they will likely remain without their best player, as Jimmy Butler is on the injury report listed as doubtful.

The six-time NBA All-Star has missed each of the previous five games, so this would be his sixth straight out of the lineup (if he doesn't play).

Via Underdog NBA: "Jimmy Butler (toe) doubtful for Friday."

Butler has played in 24 games and has averages of 21.0 points, 5.0 rebounds, 4.5 assists and 1.0 steals per contest while shooting 46.4% from the field and 37.7% from the three-point range.

The Heat are the seventh seed in the Eastern Conference with a 21-16 record in their first 37 games.

They are 6-4 over their last ten games and most recently lost to the Oklahoma City Thunder (at home) by a score of 128-120.

Following the Magic, the Heat will stay in Miami to host the Charlotte Hornets on Sunday evening.

At home, they are 10-7 in 17 games.

As for the Magic, they are the eighth seed in the Eastern Conference with a 21-16 record in their first 37 games.

They are 5-5 over their last ten games and most recently lost to Anthony Edwards and the Minnesota Timberwolves by a score of 113-92.

Following the Heat, the Magic will visit the Oklahoma City Thunder on Saturday evening in Oklahoma.

On the road, the Magic have gone 8-11 in the 19 games they have played away from Orlando.
