UPDATE: Jimmy Butler's Current Status For Nuggets-Heat Game

Jimmy Butler is on the injury report for Wednesday's game.

On Wednesday evening, the Miami Heat will host the Denver Nuggets in Florida.  

For the game, Jimmy Butler is on the injury report, but he is listed as probable, so he should be available.  

Via Underdog NBA: "Jimmy Butler (illness) probable for Wednesday."

Butler is averaging 21.7 points, 5.5 rebounds, 4.9 assists and 1.4 steals per contest while shooting 50.4% from the field and 42.5% from the three-point range in 45 games.  

The Heat enter the evening with a 35-29 record in 64 games, which has them as the eighth seed in the Eastern Conference. 

They have gone 6-4 over their last ten games but are also in the middle of a three-game losing streak. 

Most recently, the Heat lost to the Washington Wizards by a score of 110-108. 

Butler had 23 points, three rebounds, four assists, one steal and one block while shooting 9/20 from the field and 0/4 from the three-point range in 36 minutes of playing time. 

Following the Nuggets, the Heat will play their next game on Friday evening when they visit Cade Cunningham and the Detroit Pistons in Michigan. 

As for the Nuggets, they are tied with the Oklahoma City Thunder for the first seed in the Western Conference with a 45-20 record in 65 games. 

They have gone 9-1 over their last ten games and are in the middle of a three-game winning streak. 

Following the Heat, the Nuggets will play their next game on Friday evening when they visit the San Antonio Spurs.
