Jimmy Butler's Final Injury Status For Heat-Raptors Game

Jimmy Butler has been ruled out for Tuesday's game.

On Tuesday evening, the Miami Heat are in Canada to face off with the Toronto Raptors.

For the game, they will be without their best player, as Jimmy Butler has been ruled out due to a neck injury.

Underdog NBA: "Jimmy Butler (neck) listed out Tuesday."

The former Marquette star is having another stellar season with averages of 22.8 points, 6.0 rebounds, 5.1 assists and 1.9 steals per contest in 60 games.

He is also shooting 53.0% from the field and 35.1% from the three-point range.

In each of Butler's first three seasons with the Heat, they have made the NBA Playoffs.

Last year, they made the Eastern Conference Finals for the second time in three seasons.

Right now, the Heat are 40-35 in 75 games, which has them tied with the Brooklyn Nets for the sixth seed (the final guaranteed playoff spot) in the Eastern Conference.

They are 6-4 in their last ten games but just 15-21 in the 36 games they have played on the road outside of Miami, Florida.

As for the Raptors, they are tied with the Atlanta Hawks for the eighth seed in the east and have a 37-38 record in 75 games.

Over the last ten games, they are 5-5, but the Raptors are also in the middle of a two-game winning streak.

At home, they have been good, going 25-14 in the 39 games they have hosted in Canada.

Last season, the Raptors lost in the first round of the NBA Playoffs to the Philadelphia 76ers.
