Jimmy Butler's Injury Status For Heat-Magic Game

Jimmy Butler is on the injury report for Wednesday's game.

On Wednesday evening, the Miami Heat will be in Orlando to face off against the Magic.   

For the game, the Heat will be without their best player, as Jimmy Butler has been ruled out. 

Via The Heat on Tuesday: "#MIAvsORL INJURY UPDATE: Jimmy Butler (left calf strain) has been ruled out of tomorrow night's game vs the Magic."

Butler has played in 23 games so far this season and is averaging 21.5 points, 5.2 rebounds, 4.6 assists and 1.1 steals per contest while shooting 46.2% from the field and 37.7% from the three-point range. 

The Heat are the seventh seed in the Eastern Conference with a 15-12 record in their first 27 games.

They are 5-5 over their last ten games and most recently lost to the Minnesota Timberwolves by a score of 112-108. 

In 34 minutes of playing time, Butler had 15 points, five rebounds and five assists while shooting 5/12 from the field and 1/3 from the three-point range. 

Following the Magic, the Heat will play their next game on Friday evening when they host Trae Young and the Atlanta Hawks. 

As for the Magic, they are the fourth seed in the Eastern Conference with a 16-9 record in their first 25 games.

They are 6-4 over their last ten games and in the middle of a two-game losing streak. 

Most recently, the Magic lost to Jayson Tatum and the Boston Celtics by a score of 114-97. 

Following the Heat, they will visit the Milwaukee Bucks on Thursday evening.
