FINAL UPDATE: Joel Embiid's Current Injury Status For Pacers-76ers Game

Joel Embiid is on the injury report for Tuesday's game.

On Tuesday evening, the Philadelphia 76ers will host the Indiana Pacers.  

For the game, they could be without their best player, as 2023 MVP Joel Embiid is listed as questionable on the injury report.   

Via Underdog NBA: "Joel Embiid (hip) listed questionable for Tuesday."

Embiid has played in nine games this season and is averaging 32.4 points, 11.7 rebounds, 5.7 assists and 2.1 blocks per contest while shooting 50.5% from the field and 36.4% from the three-point range. 

The 76ers are the first seed in the Eastern Conference with an 8-1 record in their first nine games. 

They are in the middle of an eight-game winning streak and most recently defeated the Pacers by a score of 137-126 on Sunday evening (also at home). 

Embiid played 33 minutes and had 37 points, 13 rebounds, seven assists, one steal and one block while shooting 12/26 from the field and 1/4 from the three-point range. 

Embiid is in his eighth season in the NBA (all with the 76ers) and is coming off a sensational year where he averaged 33.1 points, 10.2 rebounds, 4.2 assists, 1.0 steals and 1.7 blocks per contest while shooting 54.8% from the field.  

Following the Pacers, the 76ers will play their next game against the Boston Celtics on Wednesday evening (at home). 

As for the Pacers, they are 6-4 in their first ten games and 1-2 in three games on the road. 

In Sunday's loss to the 76ers, Tyrese Haliburton led the team with 25 points, one rebound, 17 assists, two steals and one block.
