Joel Embiid's Injury Status For 76ers-Bulls Game

Joel Embiid has been ruled out for Saturday's game.

On Saturday evening, the Philadelphia 76ers will be in Chicago to face off against the Bulls at the United Center.

For the game, the 76ers will remain without their best player, as 2023 MVP Joel Embiid has been ruled out.

Embiid has missed each of the previous three games, so this will be his fourth straight out of the lineup.

Via Keith Pompey of The Philadelphia Inquirer on Friday: "Sixers center Joel Embiid (sprained right ankle) will NOT play tomorrow against the Chicago Bulls."

Embiid has played in 25 games so far this season and is averaging 35.0 points, 11.7 rebounds, 6.0 assists, 1.2 steals and 2.0 blocks per contest while shooting 54.0% from the field and 35.0% from the three-point range.

The 76ers are 22-9 in their first 31 games, which has them as the third seed in the Eastern Conference.

They are in the middle of a two-game winning streak and are 8-2 over their last ten games.

Most recently, the 76ers beat the Houston Rockets by a score of 131-127.

Tyrese Maxey led the way with 42 points, four rebounds, four assists and one block.

Following Saturday's game, they will face off with the Bulls (again) but on their home floor in Philadelphia on Tuesday.

As for the Bulls, they are the tenth seed in the Eastern Conference with a 14-19 record in their first 33 games.

They are 5-5 over their last ten games and most recently lost to Tyrese Haliburton the Indiana Pacers by a score of 120-104.
