FINAL UPDATE: John Collins' Injury Status For Nets-Hawks Game

John Collins is on the injury report for Sunday's game.

FINAL UPDATE: John Collins is available for Sunday's contest.

On Sunday afternoon, the Atlanta Hawks are hosting the Brooklyn Nets at State Farm Arena in Georgia.

For the game, they could be without their star power forward, as John Collins is on the injury report listed as questionable.

Underdog NBA: "John Collins (back) questionable for Sunday."

Collins is in the middle of another solid season with averages of 13.2 points, 7.1 rebounds, 1.2 assists and 1.2 blocks per contest in 50 games (while shooting 50.6% from the field).

The Hawks are currently the eighth seed in the Eastern Conference with a 30-30 record in 60 games.

They are 5-5 in their last ten games and coming off a blowout win (136-119) over the Cleveland Cavaliers on Friday night at home.

In each of the last two seasons, the Hawks have made the NBA Playoffs (and in 2021, they made the Eastern Conference Finals).

At home, the Hawks have been solid, going 16-12 in 28 games hosted at State Farm Arena in Atlanta, Georgia.

As long as they can stay healthy, they should be able to make the playoffs for a third straight season.

Meanwhile, the Nets are the fifth seed in the Eastern Conference with a 34-25 record in 59 games.

They are 4-6 in their last ten games and coming off a 131-87 blowout loss to the Chicago Bulls at the United Center on Friday night.

On the road, the Nets are 16-14 in the 30 games they have played away from Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York.
