UPDATE: John Collins' Injury Status For Trail Blazers-Jazz Game

John Collins is on the injury report for Tuesday's game.

UPDATE: John Collins is available (h/t Ben Anderson of KSL Sports).  

On Tuesday evening, the Utah Jazz will host the Portland Trail blazers in Salt Lake City.  

For the game, John Collins is on the injury report, but he is listed as probable, so he should be available.  

Via Underdog NBA: "John Collins (ankle) listed probable for Tuesday."

Collins is in his first season with the Jazz after getting traded (via the Atlanta Hawks) over the offseason.  

He is averaging 15.0 points and 8.0 rebounds per contest while shooting 54.4% from the field and 42.9% from the three-point range. 

The Jazz are 3-7 in their first ten games and most recently defeated the Memphis Grizzlies by a score of 127-121. 

Collins played 38 minutes and had 18 points, three rebounds and four blocks while shooting 5/6 from the field and 3/3 from the three-point range. 

Collins had spent the first six seasons of his career with the Hawks, and is coming off a year where he averaged 13.1 points, 6.5 rebounds and 1.2 assists per contest while shooting 50.8% from the field and 71 games. 

Following the Trail Blazers, the Jazz will play their next game against the Phoenix Suns (at home) on Friday evening. 

As for the Trail Blazers, they are 3-6 in their first nine games and in the middle of a three-game losing streak. 

Most recently, they lost to the Los Angeles Lakers by a score of 116-110. 

Following the Jazz, they will play their next game (at home) on Wednesday evening against Donovan Mitchell and the Cleveland Cavaliers.
