FINAL UPDATE: Jonathan Kuminga's Injury Status For Warriors-Grizzlies Game

Jonathan Kuminga is on the injury report for Thursday’s game.

FINAL UPDATE: Jonathan Kuminga has been ruled out.  

On Thursday evening, the Golden State Warriors will be in Tennessee to face off with the Memphis Grizzlies.     

For the game, Jonathan Kuminga is on the injury report.  

That said, he is listed as probable, so he should end up being available.

Underdog NBA: "Jonathan Kuminga (ankle) listed probable for Thursday."

The 20-year-old was the seventh pick in the 2021 NBA Draft and is currently averaging 9.2 points, 3.3 rebounds and 1.8 assists per contest in 54 games.  

He is also shooting 50.3% from the field and 34.5% from the three-point range. 

On Tuesday night, the Warriors lost 138-127 to the Oklahoma City Thunder, but Kuminga had an excellent game putting up 21 points, three rebounds, two assists and two steals in 28 minutes of playing time. 

Right now, the Warriors are in the middle of a two-game losing streak (they had previously won five in a row). 

They are tied with the Los Angeles Clippers for the fifth seed in the Western Conference and have a 34-32 record in 66 games.

Over the last ten games, the Warriors have gone 6-4, and they are 7-25 in the 32 games they have played on the road away from the Chase Center in San Francisco.

As for the Grizzlies, they are tied with the Sacramento Kings for the second seed in the west with a 38-26 record in 64 games. 

They are in the middle of a three-game losing streak but an outstanding 26-5 in 31 games at home in Tennessee.
