Josh Giddey's Injury Status For Thunder-Lakers Game

Josh Giddey is on the injury report for Saturday's game.

On Saturday evening, the Oklahoma City Thunder will host the Los Angeles Lakers in Oklahoma. 

For the game, they will be without one of their best players, as Josh Giddey has been ruled out.

Giddey had played in all 26 games this season and has averages of 11.8 points, 6.0 rebounds and 4.3 assists per contest while shooting 43.6% from the field and 34.3% from the three-point range.  

The Thunder are the second seed in the Western Conference with an 18-8 record in their first 26 games. 

They are 7-3 over their last ten games and in the middle of a three-game winning streak. 

Most recently, the Thunder defeated the Los Angeles Clippers (who had been on a nine-game winning streak) by a score of 134-115. 

In 14 minutes of playing time, Giddey had 11 points, three rebounds and four assists while shooting 4/5 from the field and 3/3 from the three-point range. 

Following the Lakers, the Thunder will host Anthony Edwards and the Minnesota Timberwolves on Tuesday evening in Oklahoma. 

As for the Lakers, they are the ninth seed in the Western Conference with a 15-14 record in their first 29 games. 

They are in the middle of a four-game losing streak and 4-6 over their last ten games. 

Following the Thunder, the Lakers will return home to host Jayson Tatum and the Boston Celtics on Monday evening in Los Angeles. 

This is the final game of their three-game road trip.
