FINAL UPDATE: Jrue Holiday's Injury Status For Celtics-Magic Game

FINAL UPDATE: Jrue Holiday has been ruled out for Friday's game.

UPDATE: Jrue Holiday is now doubtful for Friday's game (h/t John Karalis of BostonSportsJournal).

On Friday afternoon, the Boston Celtics will face off against the Orlando Magic on the road in Florida. 

For the game, Jrue Holiday is on the injury report, but he is listed as probable, so he should be available.

Jaylen Brown (right adductor strain) - QUESTIONABLE 

Jrue Holiday (right ankle sprain) - PROBABLE"

Holiday has played in all 15 games this season and is averaging 12.3 points, 7.4 rebounds, 4.9 assists and 1.0 blocks per contest while shooting 42.0% from the field and 33.8% from the three-point range. 

The Celtics come into the day as the first seed in the Eastern Conference with a 12-3 record in their first 15 games.  

They are 7-3 over their previous ten games and 6-3 in the nine games they have played on the road away from Boston. 

Most recently, the Celtics defeated the Milwaukee Bucks by a score of 119-116 (at home).  

In 35 minutes of playing time, Holiday had five points, eight rebounds, one assist, one steal and one block while shooting 1/8 from the field and 1/5 from the three-point range.

Following the Magic, the Celtics will host the Atlanta Hawks on Sunday. 

As for the Magic, they have been one of the best surprises to start the new season. 

They are the second seed in the east with a 10-5 record in 15 games and they are in the middle of a five-game winning streak. 

Following the Celtics, the Magic will host the Charlotte Hornets on Sunday.
