Jrue Holiday's Injury Status For Celtics-Rockets Game

Jrue Holiday is on the injury report for Sunday's game.

On Sunday evening, the Boston Celtics will be in Texas to face off against the Houston Rockets.  

For the game, they will be without one of their best players, as All-Star Jrue Holiday has been ruled out.  

Via The Celtics: "Jrue Holiday (right elbow sprain) - OUT"

Holiday has played in 39 games and is averaging 13.1 points, 6.2 rebounds and 4.6 assists per contest while shooting 45.5% from the field and 41.8% from the three-point range.  

The Celtics are the first seed in the Eastern Conference with a 32-10 record in their first 42 games. 

They are 6-4 over their last ten games and most recently lost to the Denver Nuggets (at home) by a score of 102-100. 

In 30 minutes of playing time, Holiday had seven points, two rebounds and three assists while shooting 3/7 from the field and 1/3 from the three-point range. 

Following the Rockets, the Celtics will stay in Texas to face off against Luka Doncic and the Dallas Mavericks on Monday evening. 

On the road, they are 12-9 in the 21 games they have played away from Boston. 

As for the Rockets, they are the 11th seed in the Western Conference with a 20-21 record in their fist 41 games. 

They are 4-6 over their last ten games and most recently beat the Utah Jazz (in overtime) by a score of 127-126.  

Following the Celtics, the Rockets will remain at home to host Deandre Ayton and the Portland Trail Blazers on Wednesday evening in Texas.
