UPDATE: Jrue Holiday's Injury Status For Celtics-Spurs Game

Jrue Holiday is on the injury report for Sunday's game.

UPDATE: Jrue Holiday has been ruled out.

On Sunday evening, the Boston Celtics will be in Texas to face off against the San Antonio Spurs.  

For the game, the Celtics could be without one of their best players, as All-Star guard Jrue Holiday is on the injury report.

Holiday has played in 29 games so far this season and is averaging 13.1 points, 6.6 rebounds and 4.7 assists per contest while shooting 45.9% from the field and 42.0% from the three-point range.   

The Celtics are the first seed in the Eastern Conference with a 25-6 record in their first 31 games. 

They are 9-1 over their last ten games and in the middle of a five-game winning streak.  

Most recently, the Celtics defeated the Toronto Raptors (at home) by a score of 120-118. 

In 32 minutes of playing time, Holiday had 15 points, two rebounds and three assists while shooting 5/15 from the field and 3/5 from the three-point range. 

Following the Spurs, the Celtics will visit the Oklahoma City Thunder on Tuesday. 

As for the Spurs, they are the 15th seed (last place) in the Western Conference with a 5-26 record in their first 31 games.  

They are 2-8 over their last ten games and most recently lost to the Portland Trail Blazers by a score of 134-128 (in Oregon). 

Following the Celtics, the Spurs will visit Ja Morant and the Memphis Grizzlies on Tuesday evening in Tennessee.
