FINAL UPDATE: Jaylen Brown has been ruled out.

Jaylen Brown (illness, non-COVID) - QUESTIONABLE"

The two-time NBA All-Star is in the middle of a tremendous season with averages of 27.0 points, 7.1 rebounds and 3.2 assists per contest (he is also shooting 49.0% from the field).

In addition, the Celtics are the best team in the NBA, with a 37-16 record in 53 games.

After making the NBA Finals in 2022, they have picked up right where they left off in 2022-23.

Brown is only in his ninth season in the league but has been to the Eastern Conference Finals an astonishing four times.

He has been a massive part of their success since being drafted with the third overall pick in the 2016 NBA Draft (out of Cal).

Over the last ten games, the Celtics are 6-4, and they are 17-9 in the 26 games they have played on the road away from Boston.

Meanwhile, the Pistons are 14-40 in 54 games, which has them at the bottom of the Eastern Conference standings.

They are 3-7 in their last ten games and have gone 7-20 in the 27 games they have hosted at home in Michigan.

The franchise has not been to the NBA Playoffs since the 2019 season when they still had Blake Griffin.
