UPDATE: Karl-Anthony Towns' Injury Status For Mavs-Timberwolves Game

Karl-Anthony Towns is on the injury report for Thursday's game.

On Thursday evening, the Minnesota Timberwolves will host the Dallas Mavericks at the Target Center.   

For the game, the Timberwolves could be without one of their best players, as Karl-Anthony Towns is on the injury report.

Towns has played in 28 games so far this season and is averaging 22.0 points, 9.4 rebounds and 2.9 assists per contest while shooting 51.6% from the field and 41.4% from the three-point range.  

The Timberwolves are the first seed in the Western Conference with a 22-7 record in their first 29 games. 

They are 7-3 over their last ten games and most recently lost to the Oklahoma City Thunder by a score of 129-106. 

In 29 minutes of playing time, Towns had 16 points, six rebounds and one assist while shooting 5/10 from the field. 

Following the Mavs, the Timberwolves will host the Los Angeles Lakers at the Target Center on Saturday evening. 

They are 12-1 in the 13 games they have played on their home floor. 

As for the Mavs, they are the sixth seed in the Western Conference with an 18-13 record in their first 31 games. 

They are 5-5 over their last ten games and most recently lost to Caris LeVert and the Cleveland Cavaliers by a score of 113-110. 

Following the Timberwolves, the Mavs will visit Steph Curry and the Golden State Warriors on Saturday evening at the Chase Center.
