UPDATE: Karl-Anthony Towns' Injury Status For Timberwolves-Lakers Game

Karl-Anthony Towns is on the injury report for Tuesday's game.

UPDATE: Karl-Anthony Towns has been upgraded to available.

On Tuesday evening, the Los Angeles Lakers will host the Minnesota Timberwolves in California for the play-in tournament.

For the game, the Timberwolves have listed arguably their best player (Karl-Anthony Towns) on the injury report as questionable.

Underdog NBA: "Karl-Anthony Towns (calf) questionable for Tuesday."

The former Kentucky star has played in 29 games this season with averages of 20.8 points, 8.1 rebounds and 4.8 assists per contest.

Towns has also shot 49.5% from the field and 36.6% from the three-point range.

Last year, he helped lead the Timberwolves to the NBA Playoffs for the first time since the 2018 season (they beat the Los Angeles Clippers in the play-in tournament).

The Timberwolves went 46-36 and finished as the eighth seed (they lost in the first round to the Memphis Grizzlies in six games).

This year, they are the eighth seed with a 42-40 record.

Over their final ten games, the Timberwolves went 7-3, and they are in the middle of a three-game winning streak.

On the road, the Timberwolves have gone 20-21 in the 41 games they have played away from the Target Center.

As for the Lakers (43-39), they are the seventh seed in the Western Conference.

After a slow start to the year, they were able to turn themselves around and finished the season 8-2 over their final ten games.

At home, the Lakers have been good, going 23-18 in the 41 games they have hosted in Los Angeles, California.

In 2022, they went just 33-49 and missed the playoffs (and the play-in tournament).
