Karl-Anthony Towns is on the injury report for Saturday's game.

FINAL UPDATE: Karl-Anthony Towns is available.

On Saturday afternoon, the Minnesota Timberwolves will be in Texas to face off with the San Antonio Spurs.

However, three-time NBA All-Star Karl-Anthony Towns is on the injury report listed as questionable.

Underdog NBA: "Karl-Anthony Towns (calf) questionable for Saturday."

According to Chris Hine of the Star Tribune, Towns will likely play.

Via Hine: "The last time the Timberwolves had a back to back, Karl-Anthony Towns rested the second game for injury maintenance. Both Towns and Chris Finch said today at practice the plan is for Towns to play in both of these games Saturday and Sunday."

Towns has played in 27 games this season with averages of 20.4 points, 8.1 rebounds and 4.8 assists per contest.

The former Kentucky star is also shooting 49.2% from the field and 35.3% from the three-point range.

Following Saturday's matchup with the Spurs, the Timberwolves will play their final game of the 2022-23 regular season at home against the New Orleans Pelicans.

The Timberwolves come into the day with a 40-40 record in 80 games, which has them as the ninth seed (one of the final two play-in tournament spots) in the Western Conference.

They are 5-5 in their last ten games and 19-21 in the 40 games they have played on the road away from the Target Center.

Currently, the Timberwolves are 1.5 games back of the Pelicans, who are the eighth seed.

Last year, Towns helped lead the franchise to the NBA Playoffs for the first time since the 2018 season.
