UPDATE: Kawhi Leonard's Current Injury Status For Celtics-Clippers Game

Kawhi Leonard is on the injury report for Saturday's game.

UPDATE: Kawhi Leonard has been ruled out (h/t ClutchPoints).  

Via ClutchPoints: "Clippers star Kawhi Leonard (hip) has been ruled OUT against the Celtics today, the team says."

On Saturday afternoon, the Los Angeles Clippers will host the Boston Celtics in California.    

For the game, the Clippers could be without one of their best players, as Kawhi Leonard is on the injury report.   

Via Underdog NBA: "Kawhi Leonard (hip) questionable for Saturday."

Leonard has played in 27 games so far this season and is averaging 24.4 points, 5.9 rebounds, 3.5 assists and 1.5 steals per contest while shooting 52.1% from the field and 42.9% from the three-point range. 

The Clippers are 17-11 in their first 28 games, which has them as the fifth seed in the Western Conference. 

They are 9-1 over their last ten games and had been on a nine-game winning streak before losing to the Oklahoma City Thunder by a score of 134-115. 

Following the Celtics, the Clippers will remain at home to host the Charlotte Hornets on Tuesday evening in Los Angeles. 

They are 11-3 in the 14 games they have played on their home floor. 

As for the Celtics, they are the first seed in the Eastern Conference with a 21-6 record in their first 27 games.  

They are 8-2 over their last ten games and most recently defeated the Sacramento Kings by a score of 144-119. 

Following the Clippers, the Celtics will remain in Los Angeles to play LeBron James and the Lakers on Monday.
