Kawhi Leonard's Official Injury Status For Clippers-Warriors Game

Kawhi Leonard is on the injury report for Wednesday's game.

On Wednesday evening, the Los Angeles Clippers will face off against Steph Curry and the Golden State Warriors at the Chase Center in San Francisco. 

For the game, the Clippers will be without one of their best players, as two-time NBA Champion Kawhi Leonard has been ruled out.

Via Shams Charania of The Athletic and Stadium: "Clippers say Kawhi Leonard has a left adductor strain and is out vs. Warriors on Wednesday."

Leonard has played in 48 games and is averaging 24.1 points, 6.2 rebounds, 3.7 assists and 1.7 steals per contest while shooting 52.7% from the field and 45.3% from the three-point range. 

The Clippers are the third seed in the Western Conference with a 35-17 record in 52 games. 

They are 7-3 over their last ten games and most recently lost to the Minnesota Timberwolves by a score of 121-100. 

In 30 minutes of playing time, Leonard had 18 points, four rebounds, one assist and one steal while shooting 8/17 from the field and 1/3 from the three-point range. 

Following the Warriors, the Clippers will play their next game on February 22 when they visit the Oklahoma City Thunder in Oklahoma. 

As for the Warriors, they are the tenth seed in the Western Conference with a 26-25 record in 51 games. 

They are in the middle of a five-game winning streak and are 7-3 over their last ten games. 

Following the Clippers, the Warriors will host LeBron James and the Los Angeles Lakers on February 22 at the Chase Center.
