Kawhi Leonard's Status For Suns-Clippers Game

Kawhi Leonard is on the injury report for Game 5.

On Tuesday evening, the Los Angeles Clippers will be in Arizona to face off with the Phoenix Suns for Game 5 of their first-round playoff series.

For the game, they will remain without their best player, as Kawhi Leonard has been ruled out.

Underdog NBA: "Kawhi Leonard (knee) ruled out for Tuesday."

The two-time NBA Champion had impressive averages of 23.8 points, 6.5 rebounds, 3.9 assists and 1.4 steals per contest while shooting 51.2% from the field during the regular season.

In Games 1 and 2, he scored 31+ points and the Clippers went 1-1 in those two games.

However, they lost Games 3 and 4 without Leonard and are now in a 3-1 hole.

If the Suns win Tuesday's game, the Clippers will be eliminated.

In addition to being without Leonard, the Clippers have had to play without All-Start forward Paul George for the entire series (he's also been ruled out for Game 5).

Last year, the Clippers dealt with injuries and missed the playoffs, so it could end up being another season that ends with significant disappointment.

They finished this year as the fifth seed and went 44-38 during the regular season.

On the road, the Clippers are 22-21 in the 43 games.

As for the Suns, they are the fifth seed and had a 45-37 record.

At home, they are a fantastic 29-14 in the 43 games they have hosted in Phoenix.

Whoever wins the series will advance to the second round and face off with either the Denver Nuggets or the Minnesota Timberwolves.
