Kevin Love's Injury Status For Cavs-Heat Game

Kevin Love has been upgraded to available for Wednesday’s game.

On Wednesday evening, the Miami Heat are hosting the Cleveland Cavaliers in Florida.

For the game, they will have five-time NBA All-Star Kevin Love in action, as he has been upgraded to available.

Underdog NBA: "Kevin Love (rib) available to play Wednesday."

Love had been in his ninth season with the Cavs before signing with the Heat last month.

Therefore, this will be his first matchup against his former team (since signing with the Heat).

On the season, the NBA Champion forward is averaging 8.3 points, 6.9 rebounds and 1.9 assists per contest in 47 games.

As for the Heat, they come into the night with a 35-31 record in 66 games, which has them as the seventh seed in the Eastern Conference.

They are 4-6 in their last ten games but also in the middle of a two-game winning streak.

The franchise has been to the Conference Finals in two out of the last three seasons, so Love was an excellent addition to the team (he's been to the NBA Finals four times).

Meanwhile, the Cavs are having their best season since 2018.

They come into the matchup with a 41-26 record in 67 games, which has them as the fourth seed in the east.

Over the last ten games, the Cavs are 6-4, and they are in the middle of a two-game winning streak.

On the road, they are 13-19 in 32 games, while the Heat are 21-12 in the 33 games they have hosted in Miami, Florida.
