Kevin Love's Injury Status For Hawks-Heat Game

Kevin Love has been ruled out for Monday's game.

On Monday night, the Miami Heat are hosting the Atlanta Hawks in Florida.

For the game, they will be without five-time NBA All-Star Kevin Love, who has been ruled out due to a rib injury.

Underdog NBA: "Kevin Love (rib) listed out Monday."

Love signed with the Heat in the middle of the year after being with the Cleveland Cavaliers for nearly nine seasons.

While he is not the star he once was, the NBA Champion is still a productive role player.

Currently, Love is averaging 8.3 points, 6.9 rebounds and 1.9 assists per contest in 47 games.

The Heat come into the night with a 34-31 record in 65 games, which has them as the seventh seed in the Eastern Conference.

They are 4-6 in their last ten games and coming off a 117-109 win over the Hawks on Saturday night (also at home).

In Miami, the Heat have been excellent, going 20-12 in the 32 games they have hosted on their home floor.

Last season, they beat the Hawks in the first round of the NBA Playoffs and made the Conference Finals for the second time in three seasons.

As for the Hawks, they are the eighth seed in the east with a 32-32 record in 64 games.

They are 5-5 in their last ten games and 14-19 in the 33 games they have played outside of Atlanta.

The Hawks have been to the NBA playoffs in each of the last two seasons and made the Conference Finals in 2021.
