Key Player Ruled Out For Spurs-Thunder Game

Keldon Johnson has been ruled out for Tuesday's game.

On Tuesday evening, the San Antonio Spurs will be in Oklahoma to face off against the Oklahoma City Thunder.  

For the game, they will be without one of their best players, as Keldon Johnson has been ruled out.

Johnson has played in all ten games so far this season and is averaging 15.3 points, 6.1 rebounds and 4.3 assists per contest while shooting 44.1% from the field and 31.4% from the three-point range.  

The Spurs are 3-7 in their first ten games and in the middle of a five-game losing streak. 

Most recently, they lost to the Miami Heat by a score of 118-113 (on Sunday) at home. 

Johnson played 37 minutes and put up 20 points, 12 rebounds, six assists, one steal and one block while shooting 8/18 from the field and 3/10 from the three-point range. 

Johnson was the 29th pick in the 2019 NBA Draft and is in his fifth season in the league (all with the Spurs). 

Last year, he averaged 22.0 points, 5.0 rebounds and 2.9 assists per contest while shooting 45.2% from the field and 32.9% from the three-point range.

Following the Thunder, the Spurs will play their next game against the Sacramento Kings (at home) on Friday. 

As for the Thunder, they are 6-4 in their first ten games and most recently defeated Kevin Durant and the Phoenix Suns by a score of 111-99 (on Sunday) in Arizona. 

They will play their next game (on the road) against the Golden State Warriors on Thursday.
