UPDATE: Key Role Player On Injury Report For Knicks-Heat Game

The Miami Heat have listed Caleb Martin as questionable for Game 3.

UPDATE: Caleb Martin has been upgraded to available.

On Sunday afternoon, the Miami Heat are hosting the New York Knicks in Florida for Game 3 of their second-round playoff series.

For the game, Caleb Martin is listed as questionable on the injury report.

Via Underdog NBA: "Caleb Martin (back) listed questionable for Saturday."

According to Ira Winderman of the South Florida Sun Sentinel, Martin intends to play.

Winderman: "Caleb Martin, who crashed in the bench late in Game 3, says he will play Saturday."

The 27-year-old has played in all seven of their NBA Playoff games so far and is averaging 12.4 points, 5.7 rebounds, 1.7 assists and 1.0 steals per contest while shooting 56.6% from the field and 41.4% from the three-point range.

In Game 2, the Heat lost 111-105, but Martin had an excellent performance with 22 points, eight rebounds and one assist while shooting 8/15 from the field in 39 minutes of playing time.

The series is currently tied up at 1-1 after the two teams split Games 1 and 2 at Madison Square Garden in New York City.

At home, the Heat have been fantastic this season, going 29-14 in the 43 games they've hosted in Miami.

With Games 3 and 4 both in Miami, they will have an excellent chance to take total control of the series.

In two out of the previous three seasons, the Heat have been to the Eastern Conference Finals (and in 2020, they made the NBA Finals).

The winner of the series will advance to the Conference Finals and face off against either the Boston Celtics or the Philadelphia 76ers.
