Key Suns Player Doesn't Practice Due To Illness

According to Duane Rankin of azcentral, Grayson Allen didn't practice on Tuesday.

On Wednesday evening, the Phoenix Suns will be in Canada to face off against the Toronto Raptors.  

For the game, they could be without one of their best players, as Grayson Allen didn't practice on Tuesday due to an illness.

Allen has played in 16 games so far this season and is averaging 11.9 points, 4.5 rebounds and 2.9 assists per contest while shooting 48.9% from the field and 47.5% from the three-point range. 

He is officially listed as questionable for Wednesday's game.

The Suns are 11-6 in their first 17 games, which has them as the fourth seed in the Western Conference.  

They are in the middle of a seven-game winning streak and 8-2 over their previous ten games. 

Most recently, the Suns defeated the New York Knicks by a score of 116-113 (Allen did not play in the game). 

Devin Booker led the way with 28 points, five rebounds, 11 assists and two blocks while shooting 10/25 from the field and 1/4 from the three-point range in 38 minutes of playing time. 

Allen is in his first season with the Suns after getting traded (via the Milwaukee Bucks) over the offseason.  

He is coming off a year where he averaged 10.4 points, 3.3 rebounds and 2.3 assists per contest while shooting 44.0% from the field and 39.9% from the three-point range.
