Khris Middleton's Injury Status For Trail Blazers-Bucks Game

Khris Middleton has been ruled out for Sunday's game.

On Sunday afternoon, Milwaukee Bucks will host the Portland Trail Blazers in Wisconsin. 

For the game, they will be without one of their best players, as Khris Middleton has been ruled out.  

Via Eric Nehm of The Athletic on Saturday: "The Bucks have submitted an injury report for tomorrow afternoon’s game vs. the Blazers.

Giannis Antetokounmpo- probable (non-Covid illness) 

Jae Crowder - out (left adductor surgery) 

Khris Middleton - out (left Achilles tendinitis)"

Middleton got injured during the team's most recent game against the Washington Wizards (the Bucks won by a score of 131-128). 

The 2021 NBA Champion has played in 13 games so far this season and is averaging 11.6 points, 3.9 rebounds and 4.2 assists per contest while shooting 46.0% from the field and 32.0% from the three-point range. 

With the victory over the Wizards, the Bucks improved to 11-5 in their first 16 games, which has them as the third seed in the Eastern Conference. 

They are 7-3 over their previous ten games and 7-1 in the eight games they have hosted in Wisconsin. 

Middleton is in his 12th season in the NBA (his 11th with the Bucks) and has made the All-Star Game three times.  

Following the Trail Blazers, the Bucks will play their next game against the Miami Heat on Tuesday in Florida. 

As for the Trail Blazers, they are 4-11 in their first 15 games, which has them as the 13th seed in the Western Conference.

They are 2-8 over their previous ten games and 2-6 in eight games on the road.
