Khris Middleton's Status For Grizzlies-Bucks Game

Khris Middleton will be available for Friday's game.

On Friday evening, the Milwaukee Bucks are hosting the Memphis Grizzlies in Wisconsin for their final preseason game.  

The Bucks are 2-2 in their first four games and coming off a 124-121 loss to the Oklahoma City Thunder. 

For Friday's game, the Bucks will have one of their best players in the lineup, as Khris Middleton is available.  

Via Eric Nehm of The Athletic: "Bucks coach Adrian Griffin tells reporters that everything in the last 24 hours has gone well and Khris Middleton will make his preseason debut tonight."

Middleton is coming off a year where he only played in 33 regular season games (and five NBA playoff games).  

The three-time NBA All-Star averaged 15.1 points, 4.2 rebounds and 4.9 assists per contest while shooting 43.6% from the field and 31.5% from the three-point range. 

Over the offseason, Middleton had surgery.  

Middleton played his rookie year with the Detroit Pistons but has spent the last ten seasons with the Bucks.

His career averages are 17.0 points, 4.8 rebounds, 3.8 assists and 1.2 steals per contest while shooting 45.7% from the field and 38.8% from the three-point range in 684 regular season games. 

He has also appeared in 74 NBA playoff games and helped the Bucks win the 2021 NBA Championship over the Phoenix Suns. 

The Bucks will play their first game of the season on October 26 when they host the Philadelphia 76ers. 

They are coming off a year where they lost to the Miami Heat in the first round of the NBA playoffs.
