Khris Middleton's Status For Heat-Bucks Game
On Sunday, the Milwaukee Bucks will host the Miami Heat for Game 1 of their first-round playoff series.
For the game, the Bucks will have one of their best players available, as Khris Middleton will play (and won't have a minutes limit).
The three-time NBA All-Star had missed the final two games of the regular season.
VIa Underdog NBA: "Lineup alert: Khris Middleton (knee) won't have a minutes limit Sunday, per coach Budenholzer."
Middleton averaged 15.1 points, 4.2 rebounds and 4.9 assists per contest in 33 games this season.
He also shot 43.6% from the field and 31.5% from the three-point range.
The NBA Champion is typically among the best shooters in the league, so he had a down year.
That said, the Bucks (58-24) were still able to finish as the best team in the league and go into the NBA Playoffs as the first seed in the Eastern Conference.
They finished 6-4 over their final ten games and are 32-9 in the 41 games they have hosted on their home floor in Milwaukee.
The Bucks won the NBA Championship in 2021 and are coming off a season where they lost in the second round of the playoffs to the Boston Celtics in seven games.
As for the Heat, they went 44-38 and finished as the seventh seed.
However, they lost their first play-in tournament game, so they are the eighth seed for the playoffs.
On the road, the Heat have gone 18-23 in the 41 games they have played away from Miami.
