UPDATE: Kristaps Porzingis' Current Injury Status For Celtics-Nets Game

Kristaps Porzingis is on the injury report for Tuesday's game.

UPDATE: Kristaps Porzingis has been ruled out (h/t Underdog NBA). 

On Tuesday evening, the Boston Celtics will be in New York to face off against the Brooklyn Nets at Barclays Center.  

For the game, the Celtics could be without one of their best players, as 2018 NBA All-Star Kristaps Porzingis is on the injury report. 

Via Underdog NBA: "Kristaps Porzingis (back) questionable for Tuesday."

Porzingis has played in 39 games and is averaging 20.4 points, 7.0 rebounds, 1.9 assists and 1.9 blocks per contest while shooting 52.9% from the field and 36.0% from the three-point range.    

The Celtics are the first seed in the Eastern Conference with a 41-12 record in 53 games.  

They are in the middle of a four-game winning streak and are 8-2 over their last ten games. 

Most recently, the Celtics beat the Miami Heat by a score of 110-106.

In 32 minutes of playing time, Porzingis had 25 points, nine rebounds, three assists and two blocks while shooting 8/14 from the field and 2/4 from the three-point range.

Following Tuesday's game, the Nets and Celtics will face off (again) on Wednesday evening in Boston. 

As for the Nets, they are the 11th seed in the Eastern Conference with a 21-31 record in 52 games. 

They are 4-6 over their last ten games and most recently beat Victor Wembanyama and the San Antonio Spurs by a score of 123-103. 

Cam Thomas led the team with 25 points, two rebounds, four assists and two steals while shooting 9/19 from the field and 5/10 from the three-point range.
