UPDATE: Kristaps Porzingis' Current Injury Status For Spurs-Celtics Game

Kristaps Porzingis is on the injury report for Wednesday's game.

UPDATE: Kristaps Porzingis has been ruled out. 

On Wednesday evening, the Boston Celtics will host Victor Wembanyama and the San Antonio Spurs in Massachusetts.  

For the game, the Celtics could be without one of their best players, as 2018 NBA All-Star Kristaps Porzingis is on the injury report.

Porzingis has played in 30 games and is averaging 19.1 points, 6.8 rebounds, 2.0 assists and 1.8 blocks per contest while shooting 52.5% from the field and 32.7% from the three-point range.    

He is in his first year with Boston and has helped the team get off to an excellent start to the season.    

They are the first seed in the Eastern Conference with a 31-9 record in their first 40 games.

In addition, the Celtics are in the middle of a two-game winning streak and are 7-3 over their last ten games.  

Most recently, they beat the Toronto Raptors (in Canada) by a score of 105-96. 

In 32 minutes of playing time, Porzingis had 15 points, six rebounds, two assists and two blocks while shooting 2/6 from the field and 1/4 from the three-point range. 

Following the Spurs, the Celtics will host Nikola Jokic and the Denver Nuggets on Friday in Boston. 

At home, they are a perfect 19-0.                    

As for the Spurs, they are the 15th seed in the Western Conference with a 7-32 record in their first 39 games. 

They are 3-7 over their last ten games and are in the middle of a two-game losing streak.
