Kristaps Porzingis' Injury Status For Celtics-Jazz Game

Kristaps Porzingis has been ruled out for Tuesday's game.

On Tuesday evening, the Boston Celtics will be in Salt Lake City to face off against the Utah Jazz.  

For the game, they will be without one of their best players, as 2018 NBA All-Star Kristaps Porzingis has been ruled out. 

Porzingis has missed each of the previous two games, so this will be his third straight out of the lineup.

Porzingis is in his first season with the Celtics and has been an excellent fit. 

He is averaging 20.4 points, 7.0 rebounds, 2.0 assists and 1.8 blocks per contest while shooting 52.0% from the field and 37.5% from the three-point range in 46 games. 

The Celtics are the first seed in the Eastern Conference with a 50-14 record in 64 games.  

They have gone 8-2 over their last ten games and are also in the middle of a two-game winning streak. 

Most recently, the Celtics beat the Portland Trail Blazers by a score of 121-99. 

Following the Jazz, they will return home to host Kevin Durant and the Phoenix Suns on Thursday evening. 

As for the Jazz, they are the 12th seed in the Western Conference with a 28-36 record in 64 games. 

They have gone 2-8 over their last ten games and are also in the middle of a two-game losing streak. 

Following the Celtics, the Jazz will remain at home to host Dejounte Murray and the Atlanta Hawks on Friday evening in Salt Lake City.
