UPDATE: Kristaps Porzingis' Injury Status For Magic-Celtics Game

Kristaps Porzingis is on the injury report for Friday's game.

UPDATE: Kristaps Porzingis has been ruled out. 

On Friday evening, the Boston Celtics will host the Orlando Magic in Massachusetts. 

For the game, they will likely be without one of their best players, as Kristaps Porzingis is listed as doubtful.

Luke Kornet (left adductor tightness) - OUT

Kristaps Porzingis (left calf tightness) - DOUBTFUL"

Porzingis has played in 18 games so far this season and is averaging 19.1 points, 6.6 rebounds, 1.8 assists and 1.6 blocks per contest while shooting 52.5% from the field and 32.6% from the three-point range. 

The 2018 NBA All-Star is in his first season with Boston after getting traded (via the Washington Wizards) over the offseason. 

He has been an excellent fit with forwards Jaylen Brown and Jayson Tatum, as the Celtics are the first seed in the Eastern Conference with an 18-5 record in their first 23 games.   

They are 7-3 over their last ten games and in the middle of a three-game winning streak. 

Most recently, the Celtics beat the Cleveland Cavaliers by a score of 116-107. 

In 31 minutes of playing time, Porzingis had 18 points, six rebounds, one steal and two blocks while shooting 5/11 from the field and 1/6 from the three-point range.

As for the Magic, they are the second seed in the Eastern Conference with a 16-7 record in their first 23 games. 

They are 8-2 over their last ten games and in the middle of a two-game winning streak.
