Kristaps Porzingis' Official Injury Status For Clippers-Celtics Game

Kristaps Porzingis is on the injury report for Saturday's game.

On Saturday evening, the Boston Celtics will host the Los Angeles Clippers in Massachusetts.   

For the game, the Celtics will be without one of their best players, as 2018 NBA All-Star Kristaps Porzingis has been ruled out.

Porzingis has played in 33 games and is averaging 19.5 points, 6.7 rebounds, 2.0 assists and 1.8 blocks per contest while shooting 52.9% from the field and 35.9% from the three-point range. 

The Celtics are off to an incredible start to the season and are the first seed in the Eastern Conference with a 35-10 record in their first 45 games. 

They are in the middle of a three-game winning streak and are 7-3 over their last ten games. 

Most recently, the Celtics beat Jimmy Butler and the Miami Heat by a score of 143-110.

During the game, Porzingis got injured, but he still finished his night with 19 points, four rebounds and one assist while shooting 6/9 from the field and 3/4 from the three-point range in 21 minutes of playing time.

Following the Clippers, they will host the New Orleans Pelicans on Monday evening. 

As for the Clippers, they are the third seed in the Western Conference with a 29-14 record in their first 43 games. 

They are 8-2 over their last ten games and are in the middle of a four-game winning streak. 

Following the Celtics, the Clippers will face off against the Cleveland Cavaliers on Monday in Ohio.
