Kyle Kuzma's Injury Status For Nuggets-Wizards Game

Kyle Kuzma has been ruled out for Wednesday's game.

On Wednesday evening, the Washington Wizards are hosting the Denver Nuggets in Washington, D.C.

For the game, they will be without one of their best players, as Kyle Kuzma has been ruled out due to an ankle injury.

Underdog NBA: "Kyle Kuzma (ankle) listed out Wednesday."

The 2020 NBA Champion missed Tuesday's 122-112 loss to the Orlando Magic, so this will be his second straight game out of the lineup.

He is currently averaging a very solid 21.2 points, 7.2 rebounds and 3.7 assists per contest in 64 games (while shooting 44.8% from the field).

Kuzma is in his second season with the Wizards after getting traded (via the Los Angeles Lakers) in the summer of 2021.

Last year, the Wizards dealt with injuries and missed the NBA Playoffs.

Right now, they are tied with the Indiana Pacers for the 11th seed in the Eastern Conference and have a 32-40 record in 72 games.

They are 2.5 games back of the Chicago Bulls for the final play-in tournament spot, so there is a good chance they will once again miss the postseason.

As for the Nuggets, they are the best team in the Western Conference, with a 48-24 record in 72 games.

That said, they are 5-5 in their last ten games and just 18-18 in the 36 games they have played on the road away from Denver, Colorado.

They are coming off a season where they were the sixth seed and lost in the first round of the playoffs.
