Kyle Kuzma's Injury Status For Pistons-Wizards Game

Kyle Kuzma has been ruled out for Tuesday’s game.

On Tuesday evening, the Washington Wizards are hosting the Detroit Pistons in Washington, D.C.

For the game, they will be without one of their best players, as Kyle Kuzma has been ruled out due to a knee injury.

Underdog NBA: "Kyle Kuzma (knee) ruled out Tuesday."

The 2020 NBA Champion is in the middle of a solid season with averages of 21.2 points, 7.3 rebounds and 3.8 assists per contest in 62 games (while shooting 44.7% from the field).

He is in his second season with the Wizards after spending the first four seasons of his career with the Los Angeles Lakers.

The Wizards come into the night with a 31-37 record in 68 games, which has them as the 11th seed in the Eastern Conference.

They are on a three-game losing streak and 3-7 in their last ten games.

At home, the Wizards are 15-17 in the 32 games they have hosted in Washington, D.C.

In 2021, they made the first round of the NBA Playoffs, but this past season they missed the playoffs (and the play-in tournament).

Currently, they are a half-game back of the Chicago Bulls for the final play-in tournament spot.

As for the Pistons, they are the worst team in the east, with a 16-53 record in 69 games.

They are 1-9 in their last ten games and 9-27 in the 36 games they have hosted at home in Michigan.

The franchise has not been to the NBA Playoffs since the 2019 season when they still had Blake Griffin and Andre Drummond.
