Kyrie Irving's Official Injury Status For Magic-Mavs Game

Kyrie Irving is on the injury report for Monday's game.

On Monday evening, the Dallas Mavericks will host the Orlando Magic in Texas. 

For the game, the Mavs will remain without one of their best players, as superstar point guard Kyrie Irving has been ruled out.  

The 2016 NBA Champion has missed each of the previous three games, so this will be his fourth straight out of the lineup. 

Via ESPN's Tim MacMahon on Sunday: "Mavs list Kyrie Irving as out vs. Magic tomorrow. It will be the fourth straight game Irving has missed due to his sprained right thumb."

Irving has played in 27 games and is averaging 25.2 points, 5.1 rebounds, 5.3 assists and 1.3 steals per contest while shooting 47.2% from the field and 41.1% from the three-point range.  

The Mavs are the eighth seed in the Western Conference with a 25-21 record in their first 46 games.  

They are 4-6 over their last ten games and 13-12 in the 25 games they have hosted in Dallas, Texas.  

Most recently, the Mavs lost to the Sacramento Kings by a score of 120-115. 

Following the Magic, they will visit Anthony Edwards and the Minnesota Timberwolves on Wednesday evening at the Target Center.  

As for the Magic, they are the eighth seed in the Eastern Conference with a 24-22 record in their first 46 games. 

They are 3-7 over their last ten games and 9-15 in the 24 games they have played on the road away from Orlando.

Following Dallas, the Magic will visit the San Antonio Spurs on Wednesday evening.
