The starting lineup for the Lakers has been relayed by Underdog NBA.

Underdog NBA: "Lineup alert: Lakers will start Russell, Beasley, Brown Jr., Vanderbilt, Davis on Sunday."

The Lakers come into the night with a 34-37 record in 71 games, which has them as the 11th seed in the Western Conference.

They are only a half-game back of the Minnesota Timberwolves and Utah Jazz (who are tied) for the final two play-in tournament spots.

Therefore, every game the rest of the way is very important.

Over the last ten games, the Lakers are 5-5, and they are currently in the middle of a two-game losing streak.

At home, they have been solid, going 18-17 in 35 games hosted in Los Angeles, California.

The franchise won the NBA Championship in 2020 but lost in the first round of the 2021 playoffs (and missed the postseason in 2022).

As for the Magic, they are the 13th seed in the Eastern Conference with a 29-42 record in 71 games.

They are 4-6 in their last ten games and 13-23 in 36 games played on the road away from Orland, Florida.

In each of the last two seasons, the Magic have missed the playoffs.
