Los Angeles Lakers legend Magic Johnson sent out several tweets after the Denver Nuggets won the NBA Championship.

On Monday evening, the Denver Nuggets won the 2023 NBA Championship when they defeated the Miami Heat by a score of 94-89 in Game 5 of the NBA Finals.

They were able to win the title and celebrate in front of their home crowd at Ball Arena in Denver, Colorado.

After the game, Hall of Famer (and Los Angeles Lakers legend) Magic Johnson sent out four tweets.

Johnson's first tweet: "Congratulations to Denver Nuggets Owner Stan Kroenke!! He won a Super Bowl with the Rams, the Stanley Cup with the Avalanche, and now a NBA Championship with the Nuggets!"

Johnson's second tweet: "Congratulations to Denver Nuggets President Tim Connelly, GM & former player Calvin Booth, and Coach Mike Malone and his entire staff. They did an excellent job coaching every series of the Playoffs!"

Johnson's third tweet: "Congratulations to Nuggets superstars Nikola Jokic and Jamal Murray, every individual Nuggets player, the entire city and the Denver fan base!!"

Johnson's fourth tweet: "Congratulations to NBA Finals MVP Nikola Jokic!! 600 points, 269 rebounds and 190 assists in the Playoffs? The first in NBA history to lead the Playoffs in all 3?🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥"

Johnson was extremely active on Twitter during the 2023 NBA Playoffs, sharing his opinions frequently after games.

He is arguably the best point guard ever and a five-time NBA Champion.

As for the Nuggets, this was their first title in franchise history, and the team is young enough that they will be able to be a contender for many more seasons.
